Oh, Deer!

I’ve been meaning to make another version of Vogue V8555 with sleeves, piping, and a full skirt ever since I made my kitten version back in May.

I used the sleeve from Butterick B6412 and it fit in the sleeve opening of V8555 without modification.

I’ve been hanging onto this fabric since last Christmas, and I actually picked up more of it this year— so at some point you’ll probably see even more of this print!

I think the reindeer are so cute, and so many Christmas fabrics utilize a warm color palette, so it’s nice to have a rich green to break things up a little.

This dress just feels so sweet, and it makes me happy— I love a classic Christmas novelty print, and this fits the bill perfectly!
